Narrow collimation and high mAs yield high spatial resolution on axial- and MPR images.
71 year-old woman had resection of colorectal cancer 1 year earlier, stage Duke C3, with 4/6 nodes positive. She received 5-FU and RT. She now presents with elevated CEA.
MPR of chest, abdomen, and pelvis
CT findings:
Solitary 1 cm lung nodule (white arrow), unchanged over 1 year. Solitary liver mass (black arrow) in medial segment of left lobe. No abdominal or pelvic lymph nodes.
